About Greenfield Pool Swimming Pool

Our History

The Greenfield community pool, a beloved local landmark built in 1942, has served generations of residents for over 83 years. From summer swim lessons and spirited competitions to lazy afternoons and family gatherings, it has been a cornerstone of community life. However, after decades of faithful service, the pool has reached the end of its functional lifespan and now requires replacement. The torch is now being passed to a new generation that will continue to reflect the pride, determination, and resilience of our community.

Wading Pool

The wading pool has to be drained and refilled every day because it doesn’t have the modern filtration system now required by health regulations. When the pool was built, it was allowed to operate under older rules, but today’s standards call for better water treatment. This daily process is no longer practical and highlights the need for updated facilities.
